A message from Down Syndrome Galway Branch Committee....

Dear Branch members,

We are so Grateful for such a fabulous turnout at Thursday Nights Meeting 10/01/2019.
It was so important to get everyone's opinions and feedback and to have the opportunity to remind everybody about all the work that goes on behind the scenes.

From your dedicated Employees:
Eileen & Brid your speech therapists, Carmel your project coordinator & Irene your regional resource officer.

To Everybody else from the Branch & Sub Committees & our fundraisers that volunteer.
It should be remembered that these people are just like you and me - leading extremely busy lives but giving up their precious free time,
diesel, phone charges, printer ink, etc free of charge and with such commitment, to keep the Branch and the Voices project running for your Children/ Adults with DS.

If it's not enough, please please join us to make it even better. We would love the help and suggestions/feedback.

PowerPoint Presentation for those that could not make it on the night available at request by emailing Galwaydsi@gmail.com or ringing the Branch phone on 087 186 1914"
The minutes are to follow but with nearly 16 pages of notes to go through from the meeting, you can appreciate that we need a little time.

Thanks again for making the effort to attend on Thursday night and we hope to see you at:Our AGM on Thursday 31st January 2019 at 8 pm in DSG West Centre

Kind Regards

Following the success of our Valentines Raffle in 2018, we are pleased to kick start the year with the launch of our 2019 “Valentines Raffle”. We thank all the sponsors, especially the MLH Hotel Collection for their generous sponsorship of fantastic prizes, enabling all monies raised from the sale of raffle tickets to directly benefit Voices for Down Syndrome Galway.

Again this year, the raffle is the initiative of parents Aedin Collins and Dominique Majecki, who secured all the prizes on offer. The monies raised from the raffle will help meet our running costs for the year
