🧦 LOTS OF SOCKS – Wear & Share for a Great Cause!
Would your School or your corporation like to help us raise funds for vital services, initiatives, and programs for the Down Syndrome Galway community?

Simply take part in the Lots of Socks campaign on Friday, March 21st, by wearing your most colourful, odd socks! 🧦✨

For everyone who wears funky socks, we ask for a small donation of €2 to support our community and create more opportunities for individuals with Down Syndrome.

Why March 21st?
March 21st (3/21) was chosen as World Down Syndrome Day because it represents the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which is the genetic variation associated with Down Syndrome.

On this special day, we celebrate the abilities, achievements, and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome around the world!

Why Odd Socks?
Colourful socks represent chromosomes—and individuals with Down Syndrome have an extra one! By rocking your colourful socks, you’re celebrating uniqueness and inclusion while also sparking a conversation about why you’re wearing them. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness and talk about Down Syndrome.

We can’t wait to see your most colourful socks and hear your amazing voices! 🎶🧦💙
