My name is Rachel O’ Regan and I work for the Tipperary branch.  I was hoping to see if we could work together to create a national Pen/email Pal programme for our teenagers and adults to support their reading and writing.  To match up abilities for our members to get the enjoyment of receiving a letter or email from each other. We could do a different theme each month and a set of questions to answer to get them started,
For example,
month 1 – introducing themselves
month 2 – favourite hobby
month 3 – favourite music
To see if this is a possibility, firstly we will need the support of parents/carers.  Would you be willing to send out an expression of interest message to your members families?
