Down Syndrome Galway now requires an enthusiastic experienced Speech & Language Therapist to continue delivering a longstanding Little Owls Early Intervention Communication Group. Applications are invited for the following;
Post: Consultant Speech & Language Therapist
Part-time, approximately 2 days per month (equivalent to 20 days per year)
Location: Galway City

Shadowing opportunity will be provided to support the incoming Speech & Language Therapist in getting to know the role prior to commencement.
Little Owls is an interdisciplinary Early Intervention Communication group, offered to children with Down Syndrome, between 12 months and 3 years of age and their parents. It was established in 2000 and has been run by a Consultant Speech & Language Therapist and Early Intervention Nurses.
Little Owls is part of the Down Syndrome Galway, Voices for Down Syndrome Galway Speech and Language Therapy Project, with exciting research links to NUI Galway Speech and Language Therapy Department on an ongoing basis.
