New Parents

Welcome and congratulations on the birth of your new baby.  You are not alone, the Galway Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland is a collection of parents of children with Down Syndrome who have come together to support each other and provide much needed services and advice.

Down syndrome Ireland have a parent link support service where a new parent can be linked with a trained parent volunteer to offer support and information. Please contact the Galway branch for information on this service.

Please note that the Session on Thursday the 21st of January at 10:20 am – Parent and Toddler Group is the one that the majority of Galway Parents used to attend if you would like to get to know each other but you are free to attend any session.
Olive was wondering if she could support parents of 0 to 5-year-olds in any other way online?  Is there anything in particular that you would love to see?
